Android One-Google’s initiative to bring stock Android to developing nation through cheap and local smartphones.Now The Android One is getting fitted with the Chinese smartphone makers Xiaomi.Xiaomi’s new smartphone Mi A1 was just announced in India with Android One for ₹ 14,999.That’s significantly more than the Android One phones we are used to.The higher price point indicates a shift in Google’a strategy,looks to capture the decent share of the world’s emerging mobile market.
The Mi A1 is same as the Xiaomi’s Mi 5x,same specifications with stock android operating system instead of the Xiaomi’s MIUI.
Mi A1 have full metal body,5.5 inch Full HD display powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage(expandable up to 128GB).The main attraction was in the camera department,have the same camera configuration Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone Mi 6.Includes both 12MP telephoto and wide angle lens,other hand it have 5MP selfie snapper.In battery department,have 3080 mAh battery with custom 380V charger.
Mi A1 will get Android Orea by the end of this year and Xiaomi says it will be the first phone to get Android P.
Beyond India,it will be available in more countries than usual-13 markets in Asia,10 in Europe,10 in Middle East and Africa and 4 in central and South America,it will be available on September 12.
