Google Plans to Start web Client for its Duo Soon

Tech giant Google will launch a web client for its video calling app called Duo soon. Google Duo was launched alongside with Allo– text communication app- back in 2016.

According to 9to5google, Google is planning to expand the availability of Google Duo so that people can use the app through the web by using Google’s chrome as well as other competitive web browsers like Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Opera etc.

It is still unaware as of now how much of the current functionality in the mobile version of Duo will be available on the web at launch, however we hope they will include the fundamental feature of Duo like “knock knock” and the ability to leave video messages. And we hope there will be browser notification for incoming messages, calls and other alerts in the web.
