International Space Station Now Available On Google Map

With the help of Google Street View,now user can explore the International Space Station shortly called as ISS. The ISS has become the first “Off Planet” addition to Google Map’s Street. Google is adding a new feature on the 18th anniversary of the first manned moon landing. Now Street view users can view 15 modules of the ISS. Google launches this feature on the 10th anniversary of Google Street View.

Tech giant capture the footage with the help of National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the European Space Agency (ESA), Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency(JAXA), Russian Space agency Roscosmos and the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS).

One of the main benefits of Google’s new feature is that it give users an improved sense of freedom of movement and greater choice of viewpoints than before.

ISS is a artificial space station or satellite which rotating in low earth orbit. Its first component was launched into orbit in 1998.The people can see ISS with the naked eye from the earth. The mass of ISS is 419,455 kilogram with length of 72.8m and width of 108.5m. It has 66ft height
