Dubbed the LG V30S, the souped-up version of one of last year’s best Android phones will bring some features that the V30 was lacking to make it competitive in 2018.
The LG V30 is equipped with a 6-inch quad HD+ (2880 x 1440 pixels) Full Vision OLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It also support for Dolby vision and HDR10 for an enhanced viewing experience. LG V 30 has also Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset with 2.4GHz octa-core processor. LG V30 comes with two variant of 64GB and 128GB with up to 2TB of expandable storage via microSD card. Both variants comes along with 4GB RAM. The device is powered by 3300mAh battery along with wireless charging facility. Instead of secondary display ,LG has introduced new feature called Floating Bar which displays shortcuts. It can also be disabled when not required.
LG V30 features dual-camera setup at the back. LG V30 is the first smartphone with inbuilt camera unit to feature 16MP crystal clear lens made of glass with an f/1.6 aperture and another 13Mp wide angle lens with an aperture of f/1.9. LG V30 has a 5MP wide-angle camera with an aperture f/2.2 on the front side .
Beyond that,LG’s rumored V30’s AI lens might be enough to compete the another flagship models like Google Pixel 2 and Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S9 and S9+
