Huawei’s Honor Play Launch in India at Price of Rs 19,999


Huawei today launched their new model of Honor called Honor Play. Huawei unveil their new mid-range model in a press event held in New Delhi. The new model packed with some cool features in affordable rate.

The new model has two versions one with 4GB RAM and another one with 6GB Ram. Both variants come with 64GB internal storage.

The Honor Play is priced at INR of 19,999 for 4GB model and 23,999 INR for the 6GB model. The phone will be available on Amazon India, starting on 8th of August.

First Impression

The new Honor play comes with new Kirin 970 processor and it comes with 6.3-inch Full HD+ display (1080x2340Pixels) with aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and display has notch on top of the display. The new HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor has four Cortex-A73 cores with clock speed of 2.36GHz and Four Cortex-A53 cores with clock speed of 1.8GHz.

Honor Play takes an advantage of GPU turbo, a new technology that claims it increase the performance by up to 60% and it also decrease the power consumption up to 30 percent. GPU turbo technology is limited to gaming at the moment-Honor Says.

The Smartphone features a  3,750 mAh battery and the device weighs 176 grams and body with 157.91×74.27×7.48mm.

Honor Play is running on Customized UI called EMUI 8.2 which is based on Android Oreo 8.1. Users can extend the memory up to 256GB using a microSD card.

The Smartphone has Dual-camera setup with a 16MP primary snapper with an f/2.2 aperture lens and a 2MP secondary camera with an aperture of f/2.4. Front camera with 16 MP for taking selfie. The phone comes with connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth version of 4.2, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack
