LG’s latest flagship model ,the LG V30 is expected to be launched in India in December priced at Rs 47,990. LG V30, was originally launched earlier this year at IFA 2017.
The LG V30 is equipped with a 6-inch quad HD+ (2880 x 1440 pixels) Full Vision OLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It also support for Dolby vision and HDR10 for an enhanced viewing experience. LG V 30 has also Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset with 2.4GHz octa-core processor. LG V30 comes with two variant of 64GB and 128GB with up to 2TB of expandable storage via microSD card. Both variants comes along with 4GB RAM. The device is powered by 3300mAh battery along with wireless charging facility. The phone also supports quick charge 3.0.However,LG omitted secondary display from V30,which was a signature in the previous V series devices. Instead of secondary display ,LG has introduced new feature called Floating Bar which displays shortcuts. It can also be disabled when not required.
LG V30 has also an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance and MIL-STD 810G rating for durability. LG V30 runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and it expected to come with latest version of Android Oreo running out-of-the-box when it launches in India.
LG V30 features dual-camera setup at the back. LG V30 is the first smartphone with inbuilt camera unit to feature 16MP crystal clear lens made of glass with an f/1.6 aperture and another 13Mp wide angle lens with an aperture of f/1.9. LG V30 has a 5MP wide-angle camera with an aperture f/2.2 on the front side.
LG V30 has so many features for security like fingerprint sensor on the rear side and LG also include new security feature such as facial and voice recognition. The voice recognition feature will work along with the music playback.
A variant called LG V30+, which boasts identical features as the V30, packs 128GB as default storage.
