Vivo X21 : India’s First Smartphone with an In-Display Fingerprint Sensor


Vivo, Chinese smartphone manufacturer has been launched there new model Vivo X21 in India at an event in New Delhi. The Vivo X21 was debuted in March in Chinese market. Now Vivo launched it in India. The main highlight of the Vivo X21 is, it is the first smartphone in India with an in-screen fingerprint scanner . The price of new smartphone is INR 35,990.

The Vivo X21 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based operating system . It has 6.28-inch full HD+ super AMOLED display which is accompanied by display notch which contains the front facing sensors like the selfie camera and proximity sensor.

On behalf of exclusive launching of vivo X21, flipkart announced an extra 3000RS off on regular exchange and 5% extra discount / cashback on SBI credit cards, and no cost EMI up ti 12 months on all major credit cards.

The Vivo X21 has dual rear camera setup, with the 12MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2PD (Dual Pixel Technology) Samsung S5K2L8 sensor. The secondary camera is a 5MP. The front camera offers Live photo, AI face beauty, AI HDR, portrait and AR Stickers. The vivo X21 comes with 128GB internal memory paired with 6GB RAM, which can be expandable up to 256GB by using microSD setup in a hybrid dual SIM configuration.

The Vivo X21 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. The phone has a 3,200 mAh battery which is charged through a micro USB 2.0 port.

The price of Vivo X21 in India is Rs 35,990 and it will compete with OnePlus6 and Honor 10 , which is pricing starting at Rs 34,999 and Rs 32,999 respectively.
